Kama Flight is a new partner wellness practice ~ part acro yoga, Thai massage, and contact improv dance. Grounded in neuroscience, rooted in philosophy and relational intelligence. Your Teacher Training also certifies you in Kama Floor, our restorative floor-based practice — two credentialed offerings from one immersion.
Our certification is registered as a YOGA ALLIANCE® Continuing Education Course (30 YACEP credits).

Is Kama Flight a YOGA ALLIANCE Continuing Education Provider?
Yes! Kama Flight Teacher Training is officially registered as a YACEP course.
Participants earn the following YOGA ALLIANCE® Continuing Education Credits:
- 12 hours for Techniques, Training, and Practice (Contact)
- 10 hours for Teaching Methodology (Contact)
- 8 hours for Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle, and Ethics (Non-contact)
Am I Guaranteed to be Certified by Attending Training
In-person training is not a guarantee that you will become certified to instruct Kama Flight or Kama Floor. You must comple the following:
- Attendance for the full in-person training (8 AM to 5 PM, four days
- Pass the Verbal cuing exam for Voyager and Base roles
- Pass the physical execution exam in the role of Base
- Pass the Written exam
- Complete viewing of all Kama At Home, Teacher's Edition videos
- Send any pre-certification (such as Yoga, massage license) and sign the Certified Teacher Agreement
What Are The Steps To Becoming Certified
To obtain this 1-year certification, participants must complete all of the following:
- Submit proof of prior certifications (200+ Yoga etc.)
- Complete all Kama At Home, Teacher Edition digital classes (digital class subscription gifted to all Instructors, a $199 value)
- Attend the full in-person Teacher Training immersion
- Pass a written exam
- Pass a physical execution of moves exam
- Pass an oral exam on the instruction of moves
- Sign Teacher Agreement

What Lodging, Meals & Amenities Are Included in Teacher Training
- Lunch and training materials are included in every Teacher Training, in every city.
Miami trainings: guests who book an accommodation ticket (Hideaway, Acrosaster, Mexican, or Bunker) also receive dinner, lodging, and access to the house pool and South Beach area. The Local ticket (no accommodation) includes lunch and training materials only.
Toronto trainings: all ticket tiers include lunch and training materials only; accommodation is not provided.

What Happens After Becoming Certified
Studio owners:
- Once you submit proof of scheduled classes; we send 10 to 15 Kama Flight Tables sent to your studio
- You are provided with marketing support -driving traffic to your studio and attendees to your class
- You are given use of the Kama Flight IP without profit share expectations
For Individual Instructors (select opportunities):
- You can take on private clients, set up your own classes, and attend events using the Kama Flight IP
- For select instructors: Kama Flight may choose to offer support in the form of taking on studio contracts, class planning, marketing support, and instructing costs
