Bring Kama Flight to Your Space
Kama Flight Foundation partners with the people and places already building community through movement — independent instructors, studio and wellness space owners, and multi-location networks — to bring partner wellness into more communities, as part of our nonprofit mission to make this practice more accessible.
Three Ways to Bring Kama Flight In
However you show up in the wellness world, there's a path that fits how you already work:
Already have a class on the schedule?
If you have a regular teaching slot, you don't need anyone's permission to bring something new to it — you need a modality that makes your class impossible to skip. Get certified, then teach Kama Flight or Kama Floor in the time you already have.
Want a signature offering without reinventing programming?
We bring the launch pop-up, the equipment, and free training for a member of your team — you bring the space and the community. Built for retention: people come back for the connection, and bring a partner.
Rolling out something new across every location is hard.
One partnership covers your whole footprint: network-wide staff certification, a consistent launch playbook per site, and IP licensing across all your locations — instead of negotiating modality by modality, site by site.
Why Movement Spaces Are Adding Kama Flight
Loneliness and disconnection are widely recognized public health concerns — the CDC notes that social isolation is linked to increased risk of heart disease, stroke, depression, and earlier death (cdc.gov/social-connectedness). Instructors and spaces of every size are responding by building connection into their programming, not just solo optimization:
- A new category, not just another class. Nothing else blends Thai massage, partner dance, and acro yoga the way Kama Flight does.
- A natural complement to what's already taught — yoga, breathwork, massage, sound healing, and community events all pair well with a partner wellness offering.
- Built for retention, not just acquisition. People come back for the connection, and they bring a partner or friend with them.
- A high-trust brand. Certified instructors, consent-based language, and published safety standards make this an easy "yes" for cautious students and members.
For Studio & Space Owners: What Kama Flight Provides
A certified instructor leads an introductory pop-up for your community, so members can try it before you commit to ongoing programming.
Launch assets, a short explainer video, and promotional support to help you introduce the practice to your members.
Kama Flight tables and Kama Floor mats provided for your launch — no upfront equipment investment required.
A member of your team can complete our YACEP-registered Teacher Training at no cost, so your space can run Kama Flight on your own schedule.
What We Ask in Return
- Space for a table or a clear floor area, and light storage between sessions.
- Promotion of the launch pop-up through your own channels (newsletter, social, in-space signage).
- A point of contact on-site during sessions.
- A commitment to continuing Kama Flight or Kama Floor as ongoing monthly programming once the launch proves out — this is a partnership aimed at recurring, space-owned classes, not a one-off event.
For Multi-Location Networks
If you operate more than one location — a chain of clubs, studios, or wellness spaces — a single Kama Flight partnership can extend across your whole network rather than being negotiated site by site:
- Network-wide IP licensing. One agreement covers Kama Flight and Kama Floor programming at every one of your locations.
- Standardized staff certification. We train your instructors to the same YACEP-registered curriculum and safety standards, so the experience is consistent from site to site.
- A repeatable launch playbook. The same pop-up-to-recurring-class model we use with individual spaces, adapted for a phased, multi-site rollout.
- One brand story, told consistently. A signature offering that differentiates your entire network, not just a single location.
Formats We Offer
A 1-hour flow of 5–7 moves, taught like a recurring yoga class so members can build a regular practice.
A themed 1.5–2 hour deep dive on connection and trust, covering 20+ foundational moves.
Short, guided preview flights — a low-commitment way to introduce people to the practice at an event.
We currently offer Kama Flight (table-based) and Kama Floor (mat-based, a gentler entry point). Kama Float, a water-based format, is in development.
Is Kama Flight Right for Your Space?
This tends to work best for instructors and spaces that:
- Already teach yoga, dance, movement, or wellness-adjacent programming.
- Have a track record of workshops, circles, or community events — not just solo/individual sessions.
- Serve couples, friends, and community-minded students or members alongside individual practitioners.
- Have room for a massage table or a clear floor area, plus a bit of storage between sessions.
Safety Comes First
Every certified Kama Flight and Kama Floor instructor completes our YACEP-registered Teacher Training, including a dedicated module on trauma sensitivity and safety, and every session follows our published Safety Standards — consent-first structure, no-fly zones, and structured check-ins. Review our full Teacher Standards and Code of Conduct before bringing Kama Flight into your space or network.
How a Partnership Comes Together
- A short intro conversation to learn about your space (or spaces), community, and schedule.
- A launch pop-up so your students or members can try Kama Flight or Kama Floor firsthand.
- Instructor training — for one team member, or across a full network, depending on scale.
- Ongoing programming, owned and run locally, with our continued support.
