Before You Arrive
Whether it’s your first flight or you’re returning for more, this guide will help you feel confident, comfortable, and fully prepared for your upcoming Kama Flight or Kama Floor class.
Here’s what you need to know to make the most of your first session:

01
- Form-fitting, breathable attire (think yoga gear): Avoid loose clothing. Cover your “No Fly Zones” of chest, navel, and inner thighs. We are a clean-energy environment and want everyone to feel comfortable. (No sports bras, bathing suits, or bare chests may be exposed).
- No jewelry or zippers: These can damage the massage table or floor circle fabric and cause discomfort or injury to you or your partner during movement.
- Barefoot or grip socks are ideal—no shoes.

02
- Water bottle – Hydration is key!
- Small towel – You may work up a sweat…bring deodorant.
- Open mind and adventurous spirit – We promise, you’re more capable than you think.

03
First-Time Flyers
- A guided introduction to the equipment, safety basics, and an introduction to our philosophy.
- Beginner-friendly progression through up to 20 foundational moves; we start out with our Stretch Series moves (stretches using body weight), move to Dance Series (more technical moves that begin to lift and move the Voyager’s body weight) then,- your class may progress to our Fly Series (above table lifts and transitions).
- Space to ask questions, switch partners or roles within your partnership (if you wish) and progress at your own pace.
Returning Flyers
- Progressions tailored to your level.
- Deeper flow sequences, core engagement, and refined technique.

04
- Nervous? That’s totally normal. Kama Flight is a journey, not a destination, and our instructors are here to support you. Meet your instructor
- Have fun! Kama Flight is about joyful movement, and play ~ not perfection.
- Invite a friend – Classes are more fun with someone you trust to laugh with.
