Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct applies to every Kama Flight and Kama Floor class, workshop, jam, retreat, Teacher Training, and community event — in person or online. It exists so every attendee, instructor, and studio partner can trust the room before they ever touch a table or a mat. It's an extension of our four principles: Presence, Permission, Polarity, and Play.

Respect & Consent Come First

  • Touch is never assumed. Ask, listen for a real answer, and check in again as a session progresses.
  • Any participant can pause, modify, or end a movement or a partnership at any time, for any reason — no explanation required.
  • The chest, inner thighs, and buttocks are no-fly zones in every sequence, in every format.
  • "No" is a complete sentence. It is never met with pressure, guilt, or repeated requests.

In the Room

  • Arrive sober. Kama Flight involves lifts, balance, and shared weight-bearing; alcohol and drugs are not permitted before or during practice.
  • Disclose injuries, conditions, or physical limitations to your instructor before class begins.
  • Wear fitted, flexible clothing that keeps movement safe (see our What to Wear guide).
  • Photography and video are only taken with the explicit consent of everyone who would appear in the frame. Instructors and event hosts will announce when media is being captured.
  • Harassment, coercion, discrimination, or unwanted contact of any kind is not tolerated — toward instructors, staff, or fellow participants.

For Instructors & Studio Partners

  • Only certified Kama Flight or Kama Floor teachers may lead a class, workshop, or jam using our curriculum and IP. See our Teacher Standards.
  • Every session includes structured check-ins and a clear opening statement of the no-fly zones and consent practices used in the room.
  • Instructors are trained to hold space for participants with trauma histories; see Trauma-Sensitive Practice.
  • Studio partners hosting Kama Flight agree to uphold this Code of Conduct as a condition of using our name, materials, and tables.

If Something Goes Wrong

If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct — during a session or after — please tell your facilitator directly, or contact our support team at support@kamaflight.com. Reports are taken seriously. Violations can result in removal from a session or event, loss of teaching certification, or termination of a studio partnership, depending on severity.

This Code of Conduct works alongside our full Safety Standards, including Consent & Boundaries and Physical Readiness.
